Food+ believes no one need go hungry. Food+ exists to redistribute surplus food and goods from businesses in the Borough of Bromley to meet the material needs of individuals across the Borough who are in acute financial difficulty. Our teams of volunteers collect surplus food and other goods from our partner local businesses. Local organisations and charities refer clients to us who are under financial pressure and could benefit from our service. We guarantee each client three packages of groceries over three months, but we can often help in other ways too – such as by gardening and redecorating for our clients. Our four hour turnaround means that we can supply fresh produce – dairy, vegetables, and baked bread, for example – fresh that day. We only supply the best quality food and we have rigorous food safety systems and training in place.
