Food FiXR is a HealthTech and FoodTech startup that is building a single-source evidence-based platform for people to have an augmented reality app assistant for optimal health at the grocery store. You give us your condition, and we give you a grocery list of the foods with the highest density nutrients necessary to repair your depleted body systems. Unlike the heavily saturated weight loss and fitness market (think My Fitness Pal), our B2B and B2B2C model is a true solution in an open and mostly untouched "Food As Medicine" market space. We specifically focus on ingredients, sustainability, and which foods could heal your body ...OR, which ones could make you worse. We are unyielding about democratizing the scientifically-valid information based off of over 3 million scientific peer-reviewed studies in the literature, and creating a simple and usable solution to the sustainable food-supply chain, by offering an actionable answer to the "What Kind" and "How" for people trying to find and prepare healing foods. With the top 4 killers in modern medicine (obesity, diabetes, heart disease and cancer) being both preventable, and potentially reversible, our company is a resource for what we know is not a disease crisis - our country has a food knowledge crisis. We recognize the challenges with food insecurity, and further recognize and are positioned to change another underrepresented issue that needs to be addressed: nutrition insecurity. Helping people to know how to choose foods that actually have ingredients with properties needed to optimize body function is our core impact, passion, and solution.
