Food Friends combats food waste whilst bringing the community together with every bite.Currently over 50 Food Friends are sharing meals, often on a weekly basis. The project spans generations with our youngest cook aged 25 and our eldest diner 103. The project is providing community support to those unable to access existing services within Whitstable and creating a self-reliant and supportive community. During the pandemic we are changing our model so that we can offer more help to a wider range of vulnerable and isolated families and individuals.
