Delivered in Chinese with English subtitles, it is the first Chinese show that explores the food scene in New York City. Divided into two segments by co-hosts Yuxin and Cici Li, the show blazes a new trail by bridging the gap between cultures through food. While Yuxin works in NTD's kitchen studio with the award winning chef Mike Chen to demonstrate how classical Chinese dishes are made from scratch, Cici pounds the pavement in the five boroughs to discover the best eats from all nationalities.Feedback from audiences have been enthusiastic: "You are making me so hungry. There isn't any restaurant and travel program for Chinese out there. You are the first. My friends and I all love it." Food Paradise's Youtube channel (foodparadisetv) and Facebook pages have also garnered a loyal following. Episodes for the second season are already under production.
