Footvolley Australia (FVA) Incorporated is a not for profit Sporting Organisation formed to establish, guide and promote footvolley in Australia. FVA is committed to supporting development and growth of the practice of footvolley – an innovative physical and recreational activity – to promote physical and mental health, well-being and social interaction in a safe environment. Our team has been working in the implementation of a Footvolley Development Program, which tackles the development of the sport in the local community to communities across the state. As part of our Development Program, we are focused on offering to the community footvolley training sessions, workshops and tournaments. In partnership with local entities, businesses, schools, clubs and other sport associations, FVA's final goal is to prepare professional athletes to represent Australia internationally. Footvolley Australia came to officialise footvolley by registering new members, organising coaching to men, women and children, and implementing tournaments. FVA aims to train and prepare players to represent Australia at international events including the Footvolley World Cup. Footvolley Australia expects the sport to gain ground across Australia and become an active participant within the Australian sports community.
