For by Four Ventures is the operating company founded by Jeff Scalzi, a results-driven, seasoned marketing, communications and public relations consultant to professional services organizations with a focus on law firms. Jeff's experience lies in both private organizations and public corporations, with a strong acumen for effective strategic marketing, ROI measurement and metrics, and operational efficiency. Over nearly 25 years, Jeff has gained a disciplined focus on the utilization of brand development and communications strategies as critical success factors in new business generation. Jeff has demonstrable experience in building solid collaborative relationships among internal teams, as well as with clients, outside agencies and service providers, business development partners and industry and trade organizations.Jeff has experience in developing and implementing strategic, integrated marketing, communications and public relations programs, most recently serving as head of content strategy and associate director of marketing at Goulston & Storrs and director of marketing and business development at both Dentons US and Foley Hoag LLP. As a recognized industry leader in legal services marketing, Jeff is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and served as 2012 President of the LMA's New York Chapter. He also served as 2008 President of the LMA's New England Chapter. He was Co-Executive Editor for Strategies: The Journal of Legal Marketing for two years. Jeff most recently served as the co-chair of the Legal Marketing Association's OneLMA Task Force, leading to a role as a member of the LMA Regional Nominating Process Task Force overseeing the regionalization of the association.Prior to his work in professional services marketing, Jeff held positions managing the marketing communications initiatives at several technology companies serving industries such as health care, life sciences, telecommunications, real estate, retail and financial services.
