For The Kingdom inc. is a 501C3 that was birth by the Memphis Leadership Foundation. The land on which FTK currently sits was originally owned by Stax studio executive Jim Stewart. Eventually, Jim Stewart was forced to sell the property and subsequently the Cunningham Family was able to acquire it after many, many prayers. They purchased the property and donated it to Memphis Leadership Foundation with the intent of it becoming a camp to teach youth about Christ. The camp itself began as a day camp only. Little by little the camp was developed and became what you see today. A camp for the youth of our community to get-away from city life but not from the city. FTK has continuously been blessed over the years and we have been able to serve thousands of children through our camp experience. Our summer camp is an escape for every child that steps on our grounds. It is a vacation from their everyday life. Through our proven system of respect, support, appreciation, and value we are able to create an environment in which each camper has the opportunity to hear God's message of love and acceptance.
