FGCS is a high performing school; we were rated outstanding by Ofsted in February 2016 and were the 6th best school nationally for progress in 2017. We are a well-resourced school with results above the national average at 78% of students achieving a grade 4 (old grade C) or higher in English and Maths, and 63% of students achieving a grade 5 (old strong grade C) in English and Maths. Our progress 8 score is +1. We are the highest performing community school in Newham. We are committed to every child doing well and we have well-behaved, dedicated students who are eager to learn. We are part of the Community Schools Trust.
