FORMOBILE - An EU project, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme.A consortium of 19 partners from 15 countries is working in collaboration to create an end-to-end mobile forensic investigation chain, striving to improve digital safety, and security in the EU.FORMOBILE is a 3-year project, which kicked off in May 2019 and will conclude in April 2022. The goal of the project is to create 'An end-to-end mobile forensic investigation chain for mobile devices' To achieve this, the project is split into three key objectives. 1. Tools - Advanced, innovative tools and software for the successful acquisition, recovery, analysis and visualisation of data.2. Standard - Phone to Court. A best practice, standardised process for the mobile phone forensic chain.3. Training - Giving Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) the necessary training to effectively use the new tools and successfully follow the standardised procedures.
