The Fort Campbell Historical Foundation is a public, non-profit, 501(c)3 educational foundation established in 1992 to support the soldiers and their families as well as the ongoing development of a museum that honors the history of the U.S. Army's Fort Campbell, located astride the Kentucky–Tennessee border, home to the 101st Airborne Division, the 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.The FCHF will build a new Wings of Liberty Military Museum which will serve as a tribute to soldier patriots – sons, daughters, husbands and wives – whose extraordinary feats protect the freedoms enjoyed by all Americans and to pass traditions of courage, leadership, character and service to country to all generations.
