Foreign sales veteran Nadine de Barros, financier Daniel Wagner and producer Robert Ogden Barnum have come together to create Fortitude International. With equity, bridge and senior debt capabilities at its disposal, the new sales and financing venture will fully finance projects and is looking to produce strong, commercial and director driven material."Fortitude will be a haven for filmmakers and artists to make creatively and commercially successful films," Barnum says.The partners will also source and finance TV series and minis, capitalizing on de Barros' experience in the medium. She was formerly head of sales at Aldamisa International, and was previously VP of sales and acquisitions at Voltage Pictures.Wagner's BiFrost Pictures launched last year at Cannes and has recently greenlit Miles Davis biopic Kill The Trumpet Player starring and directed by Don Cheadle. Wagner's other projects include Jake Paltrow's Sundance entry Young Ones, Paul Bettany's directorial debutShelter and Simon Helberg's romcom We'll Never Have Paris.Barnum, who is also a producer on Kill The Trumpet Player and Shelter, is a co-founder of finance firm e2b Capital with Cassian Elwes, and most recently executive produced JC Chandor's All Is Lost; he also exec produced Chandor's breakout Margin Call.
