Fortress' lending and investment approach combines the disciplines of private equity, institutional financing, project funding, and asset based finance. We lend to and invest in real estate and commercial projects, commercial properties, and income producing real estate that consistently yield high cash and equity returns for our investors. Our unique ability to identify "hard-to-find deals" and to close "hard-to-fund deals" has made us highly sought after by both our private investors and commercial real estate clientele.The initial pool of funds reached over US $250 million, and the first fund (Fund I) is organized as Fortress Capital Management, LLC. The purpose of this new LLC is to serve as a fund for financing ‘hard money' deals, ranging primarily from $3M-$15M in loan value. The fund invests primarily in short term (12-18 months) commercial real estate loans at a 12-15% interest rate charged to the borrower.
