We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that is committed to removing fossil fuels from grassroots auto racing in the US. Auto racing is a integral part of American culture and while national and international racing series sponsored by auto makes can develop alternatives to the internal combustion engine, that is not feedable for the 'saturday night' racer. We aim to further research and develop an alternative fuel made up of a ternary blend of Gasoline, (bio)ethanol and (bio)methanol called 'GEM' that will reduce CO2 and fossil fuel use by over 90% compared to gasoline, over 40% compared to e85 and features the advantages of all three fuels. GEM is less expensive than race gasoline and doesn't require changes to existing race engines.9
