I provide mechanical engineering design, analysis, and project mentoring for a variety of mechanical design endeavors, drawing on 35 years of experience in heavy construction equipment and medical product design....I am principally a mechanical engineer, capable of providing mechanical design and analysis support in the area of static and dynamic machines and tooling. I have a strong background in structures made from a variety of material. I have a good solid understanding of manufacturing processes that include; machining and welding, plastic injection molding, powdered metal, laser cutting and bending, and others...including many rapid prototype techniques and materials.I want to participate in the design and analysis of machines and machine design. Provide the support that may not be on staff to manufactures/suppliers that want to invest in that functional strategy. I have good understanding of most tooling methodology. I can work on-site or remote very seamlessly, producing 2010 SolidWorks solid models of detailed assemblies and parts, design analysis using COSMOS FEA as required, along with their associated engineering drawings. Focused participation in the front end design of simple to complicated parts and assemblies can speed up development of any project leading to successful execution.
