Foundation for Environmental Protection in Tanzania (FEPT) is a national environmental protection organization based in Arusha, Tanzania. Founded in 2020, registered under Tanzania Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002 and is committed to the conservation and protection of Tanzania environment in its diversity. FEPT is established with the view of fighting and addressing the major environmental problems in Tanzania by carrying out rehabilitation schemes and protection against destruction campaigns taking into account climate change problems.The vision of FEPT is to have community with safe environment and climate for development. In order to achieve that FEPT is determined to create and deliver transformative environmental protection solutions that enhance safe lives in partnership with government, international organizations, environmental experts and local communities FEPT is working to achieve three major objectives which are promoting protection of Tanzania Environment; Enhancing community engagement in environmental protection; and advocating for formulation of institutional laws and regulation and their implementation for environmental protection.
