Nonprofit Organization Management - Basel, Basel-Stadt, Switzerland
All over the world, researchers are gaining insights that are of great importance for modern democratic society. The scientific community is largely paid for with taxpayers' money. However, most of these people lack the academic training to understand the results produced - as communicated by science. This is why the universities themselves are increasingly taking on the role of mediator. However, this alone is not enough: an independent authority is needed that weights and classifies the factual knowledge from research and communicates it to the general public. That is science journalism. Its promotion and preservation is the aim of the non-profit foundation "Knowledge for All".
