Foundations for Leadership engages young people, support educators, and enrich communities by creating thoughtful and active citizens. For decades, Model UN has been the premier vehicle for building young people's leadership skills and understanding of international affairs, and world cultures. The Model UN activity develops literacy and communication, higher order thinking, and not least of all respect for diversity. Students who participate in Model UN develop lifelong skills that enhance college and work place readiness.Foundations for Leadership offers teacher professional development, ongoing support, and resources to help institutions build new programs or professionalize existing ones. We are a team with more than 30 years combined experience in program design and implementation, event management, and resource development. We are particularly attuned to the needs of public school educators and students.
