Founder's Club Details
Founder's Club is a passion project to improve the startup ecosystem in Melbourne. When I began my journey as an entrepreneur I came across several issues in trying to start my own company. I also found out that the same issues are systemic, and almost a right of passage amongst established founders. Most of my friends, myself included, admit we wasted the first 6-9 months of our journey focusing on things that weren't necessary. All despite having read the Lean Startup and attended workshops.In essence, FC is a response to that. I'm focusing on getting founders to meet investors so that they set more realistic expectations, and build relationships to access capital; working on building up a mentoring culture to pass on hard-earned lessons and teach the basics of entrepreneurship; and equipping founders with the latest health research that our athletes use, to equip them for working 12-16 hour days in a sustainable way.
