Farming - Hooper, Utah, United States
The original Fowers Farm dates back to 1864 when Jesse Fowers Sr. emigrated from England to settle in the West in Hooper, Utah. Multiple farms stemmed from Jesse's farm and still operate today. One of these farms, Fowers Farm, is owned and operated by Dale R. Fowers. Dale is Jesse's great, great grandson. Seven generations have now worked the land that Jesse Fowers Sr. settled. Fowers Farm, as it is today, began in 2002 after Fowers Dairy Farm, owned by Floyd D. Fowers, was sold. Fowers Farm grows vine ripened, hand picked produce including tomatoes, peppers, squash, and pumpkins, and raises a few grass fed turkeys, chickens, geese, and beef cattle. The farm also grows alfalfa, grass, and field corn. At Fowers Farm, we believe in sustainable farming that provides healthy food for our friends and neighbors.
