In 2012, representing its initial broadcast investment in the community, News-Press TV, LLC, a subsidiary of News-Press & Gazette Co., successfully launched FOX 26 KNPN, the first FOX affiliate in the St. Joseph area.On November 1, 2016, News-Press TV, LLC, brought forth a new era in St. Joseph broadcast television history by becoming the first NBC station in the market. NBC 21 KNPG is jointly operated with four other local broadcast properties owned by News-Press TV, LLC. These include FOX affiliate, FOX 26 KNPN, entertainment network The CW (NNPG), Spanish-language network Telemundo (ONPG) and the 24/7 news and weather channel News-Press NOW (ONPN).On June 1, 2017, the launch of CBS 30 KCJO-LD, brought the return of a local CBS station to the St. Joseph area for the first time in 50 years.
