Initially established as a think tank of professionals and academics focused on developing African-relevant Open Source Smart, Sustainable Cities & Infrastructure with integration of communication, energy, water, IoT, 4IR, drones and ICT. Designed to assist government & corporate solution providers to ensure best practise, standards, future proofing and fit-for-purpose ‘in Africa' projects. • Smart Sustainable African City research project – partnering with a University consortium as the first research project to develop a transformation template African cities and environments. Coordinating 4+ PhD Candidates & industry bodies.• Modelling & planning a smart artisan design & manufacturing business models and training. Designing and developing open source learning programs distributed around continent.• Outreach programs established for energy, boreholes, agriculture & youth design & manufacture.
