Francesco Orazzini (1988) was born in Livorno, Italy and raised in Rosignano Solvay. In 2007 he moved to Rome where he studied and obtained an honors degree in Illustration and Animation from the European Institute of Design (IED Rome). In 2010 he moved to New York City where he worked as a freelance illustrator. In 2012 he worked as a studio assistant for the artist Nancy Lorenz in Chelsea, Manhattan. In 2013 he left New York City and moved to México City, where he currently resides and works full-time as a freelance visual artist and illustrator. Besides his solo exhibitions he has participated in several collective exhibitions in Italy and Mexico such as The Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome and Museum Soumaya, Mexico. He illustrates books and currently gives workshops on both painting and book illustration.
