I have over 25 years of IT experience, working for a wide variety of companies. I have a very strong technical background and am at ease learning new technologies. In the last 15 years, I have developed Business Intelligence applications for several clients. I have participated in all aspects of project development, from proofs of concept and project proposals to business analysis, requirements gathering, application development and testing, system documentation, mentoring, and user training. I am happy to work independently or in a team. I have participated in software installation and testing. I recently worked in an agile development environment.I have worked on Windows, UNIX and IBM Mainframe platforms with Information Builders WebFOCUS, including BI Portal, BI Dashboard, Managed Reporting, Report Caster and Developer Studio. I can install and deploy WebFOCUS software, migrate WebFOCUS environments, build portals, dashboards, parameter screens, charts and reports. I have a thorough knowledge of HTML and JavaScript and have found creative ways of incorporating jQuery and Highcharts into the WebFOCUS environment. I have comprehensive experience working with Oracle, DB2, MySQL and MS SQL Server, and some exposure to WebFOCUS Data Migrator, SAP, PeopleSoft, MS CRM 3, Java and JSP. I have also helped build several WordPress-based websites.I am the most active contributor on FocalPoint, an Information Builders online forum, helping many WebFOCUS developers solve business and technical problems.I have successfully worked as a contractor for the last 13 years and hope to continue.
