It all started back in 1968 as a modest business in the basement of Benny Frandsen house where he began designing lamps. Young and idealistic, he first made only the quadratic lamps that were his own favourites. He quickly discovered, however, that these weren't selling well, and cast his efforts into round lamps, the Ball series, which still are in production and one of the best selling series. Frandsen Lighting A/S has interpreted the best of Scandinavian lighting aesthetics since 1968. Today we design, manufacture and market lighting around the world. We work with high-end designers, private label partners, contract providers and a wide range of international retailers. Frandsen Lighting A/S is part of FRANDSEN GROUP located in Horsens (Denmark).
