Franklins was founded in 1978 by the late Jim Franklin, who had previously been in practice in Abingdon and Oxford in his grandfather's firm of A. H Franklin. The present partners are Julia Kent and Helen Foreman. Franklins is based in central Abingdon, just a short walk from the town centre shops and car parks. We can be consulted in person, by phone or by email. We can offer same day and fixed fee appointments and can see you in your own home where necessary.Our property team handles all types of sales, purchases, mortgage and leasehold work, for both individuals and businesses. We offer a full range of services to private clients to include the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, tax planning and the administration of estates.We have immediate access to a whole range of specialist lawyers in all areas of the law when needed by our clients. We are truly independent and have never paid referral fees to obtain work, nor do we carry out volume work for insurance companies or mortgage lenders.
