Fraser Valley Academy of Dance, with Artistic Director John C. Carney, offers superior training with specialized focus on classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre. The Academy offers students an exceptional opportunity to achieve their highest potential with a teaching staff of professionally-trained former dancers, and those with international diplomas in Performing Arts and Teacher Training. Since 2013, our students have received over 80 invitations to ballet company schools, such as Canada's National Ballet School and Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, as well as performing arts colleges including Randolph Academy of Performing Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.FVAD provides students with varied training throughout the year in the Classical Ballet School, Musical Theatre School, Pre-Professional Academy, and Summer Programs. International students are hosted by our families in the FVAD Homestay Program.
