Freedman & Partners LLP is an accredited sponsor on the ThincatsTM Business Loan Network with many years experience in arranging business loans for established companies and property development.Peer to peer lending ("crowd funding") is an internet based system where individuals, companies and pension funds may choose to bid at auction, to lend funds securely, as a "crowd", directly to borrowers, effectively cutting out the Bank and getting a better return than a normal Bank deposit would pay.Freedman & Partners LLP's role is to assess propositions and once satisfied, to act on behalf of the borrowers in sponsoring and submitting propositions to auction.We have to;• Assess and agree the loan requirements and structure with the borrower• Prepare a pack of documents to submit to lenders• Agree the loan and term with lenders.• Monitor the progress of the auction• Respond to lenders enquiries• Facilitate due diligence• Help in completing loan documentation• Assist in drawdown• Monitor and report regularly on the loan up to repayment.We act much like an "old fashioned" relationship Bank manager except that we are paid by and act on behalf of the borrower, not the lenders.The borrowers benefit from our long experience in arranging loan facilities. We bring this expertise to assist in finding solutions to a wide range of funding issues. We aim to assist in the development of the business wherever we can.*Please note, we do not arrange finance for start-ups.
