Wholesale/Distribution - N/A, N/A, UK
Freedown Food Company was set up in Dorset in 1993, by Danny Russell with the aim of selling venison to local pubs and restaurants. A few years later the current Managing Director John Bengue joined the company, and the two have been working together ever since. Freedown Food was the first company in the UK to see the potential for specialist meats and remains the largest importer and distributor. The company's range of meats represents the finest flavours from around the world, including Wagyu Beef from Japan, Australia and Chile, Iberico Pork and others. Supplying only the most exceptional meats means Freedown Food works closely with its suppliers to ensure they consistently provide only the most outstanding meat. Freedown Food also trades as Meat Me at Home, where they sell meat to the general public. Check out the website www.meatmeathome.com.
