I'm doing IT consulting for creatives. I specialise in Mac systems, from whole company networks to single-user setups. Services include: Networking / Servers / Backup strategies / Troubleshooting / Bespoke programming / Training & Tech support / Security / Mac & Windows integration / Mobile devices / HTML|CSS / ... Also I specialise in image archiving and Digital Asset Management, and I have programmed FileMaker databases for several large companies and institutions. References on request.But - I'm also a practicing Visual Artist, doing exhibitions and performances in galleries and public institutions world wide. All of my IT skills are self-taught. I use the computer a lot in my art work, and I needed to know myself what is possible and what can be done. This way, one practise supports the other. Possibly because of my arts background, I'm allergic to technocrat thinking. The human in front of that screen should always be the one calling the shots. Not the machine telling the human what to do.
