Leisure/Hospitality - New Orleans, LA, us
Join us for a lazy ride through the Vieux Carre and up to the Mighty Mississippi to where the Crescent City got her name. A short ride from the busy French Quarter lays the lazy Oak-lined Esplanade Avenue strewn with grand old manors, the "Avenue of the Creoles", where the bold and colorful architecture is indicative of where New Orleans gets her personality. Across Bayou St. John, ancient Oak trees flood the old 1500 acre Allard Plantation, now City Park. Winding our way back through shady streets and quiet neighborhoods to Armstrong Park, Congo Square and the former red light district Storyville, we turn into the Treme and the back of the Quarter where the smells from the kitchens make you glad that you decided to take a ride. While the buildings have come and gone, the people and culture have remained, and we are proud of the fact that some things never change. Come with us for a ride through old New Orleans and Let The Good Times Roll!
