As country kids are drawn to the bright lights of the big city so should city kids have an opportunity to experience rural wonder. If we as a society are going to live sustainably, eating the healthiest, most delicious food & leaving our children a better earth, more folks are going to need to live in an agriculturally productive way.Weekly volunteer workdays will develop a lovely, fun property with rental cottages, chicken coops, rehab livestock, gardens & quarterly cook-off concerts. Spent brewery grain to farms as livestock feed is a fantastic example of sustainable success. We'll expand that program's impact by sharing the lessons we learn in the Houston market for others' benefit around the world.We promote the loving care of animals: Wild, pet & livestock, animals should have as high a quality of life as possible.We respect value of diverse expertise: Create events to cultivate a positive relationship between city & country.We champion sustainable living: Live the dream... and celebrate local brewers, musicians, chefs, builders, farmers, artists.
