Nanette Fridman helps organizational leaders plan for success and solve challenges. She founded Fridman Strategies in 2006 to assist values-driven organizations in advancing their missions and maximizing their impact. Nanette's formula for success is the right strategy, an effective organizational structure and strong team, and giving people the proper training and coaching to help with implementation.With this formula in mind, Nanette's practice focuses on strategic planning, governance and board development, financial resource development, coaching and mentoring and team building. Recently, Nanette has partnered with Lisa Hills to offer expanded team and talent development consulting services and capacity to provide dynamic (and fun) retreats and facilitated meetings. Nanette's clients range from small start-ups to large international organizations across North America.Known for her good humor and high energy, Nanette is a frequent keynote speaker, workshop presenter, trainer and facilitator. She is the author of On Board: What Current and Aspiring Board Members Must Know About Nonprofits & Board Service and writes and blogs regularly about management and leadership.Before founding Fridman Strategies, Nanette worked as a corporate attorney and a national field director for an advocacy organization. Nanette feels grateful to have discovered her purpose and have her professional and personal values and goals aligned. She is passionate about helping others live a meaningful life and is energized working with individuals and groups to learn how to do more of what matters.Originally from Rhode Island, Nanette earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University. She received her BA, summa cum laude, in political science from Tufts University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Nanette also studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Nanette is honored to be a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
