Friends of Fircrest is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization (501c3) advocating for the rights to quality living choices for all people with developmental disabilities. We seek to advocate, educate, and collaborate for a full continuum of care, respecting the right of all people to exercise control and choice over their lives. Our goals are to 1) Secure new and/or better programs, treatment, and/or benefits for individuals with ID/DD residing at Fircrest School RHC, and to generally promote the welfare of ID/DD members of the larger community without regard to the type of facility they reside int, 2) To foster cooperation and communication between the Friends of Fircrest and any facility, agency, or organization involved in any way with the ID/DD community at large, and 3) To promote the general welfare concerning individuals with ID/DD wherever living.
