FOTE aims to promote environmental sustainability through advocacy, education, and awareness creation. To drive our objectives better, FOTE also actively pursues initiatives in the areas of renewable energy sources, waste management, economic empowerment and gender issues.One key area of focus which we have identified at FOTE, is in the introduction of science and technology education to youths at all levels to help drive the message on environmental awareness and management. With modern tools, young people are able to better understand their environment and their roles in it. With the rural and peri-urban dwellers, young students have also been found to play integral roles in educating their parents and guardians where necessary.
