Non-Profit - Chattanooga, TN, US
The Riverbend Festival, or called Riverbend (named for the bend in the Tennessee River) by locals, was started in June 1982 as a five night festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga's original music festival is turning 39 in 2022. While our history is rich with performers who've taken the stage, we're ready to take our past and rock our future. Today's Riverbend reflects a shorter festival that is focused on changes that will bring performers closer to audiences and experiences that will position the festival well into thefuture.Riverbend is more than a good show. It's a growing business. Our efforts provide nearly 250 area residents with full-time, ongoing employment and an amount approaching $1 million in net public sector revenues. Our ‘through-the-gate' total attendance of 50,000+ means we're right where we need to be: on the Tennessee River in June waiting on you to take the stage.
