Frnds & company was founded by Mumbai-based entrepreneur parkhar jain partnered by Divya anandani in 2017. Later on it was financed and Co-owned by Richa Gupta. Frnds & Company pioneered the online retail broking industry and leveraged on the first wave of digitization, when dematerialization (demat) of securities came into effect and electronic trading was introduced in the stock exchanges.
