My name is Chris Wiley. I am a former military officer with over twenty years of distinguished service to our great nation, and a three-time combat veteran. I began learning about and using firearms at the age of six, and have not stopped learning since. I have received extensive training on the safety, care and employment of both handguns and rifles. I have also taken several courses in the field of trauma care.I am a staunch advocate of the Second Amendment, and believe that every law-abiding American citizen has the unalienable right to own firearms for personal protection. I also believe that comes with an inherent responsibility to our fellow Americans to educate ourselves on the safety and proper use of those firearms, particularly in the public arena.I founded this company with the vision of educating and training individuals and families and instilling a sense of community responsibility, much like we had in the "good ol' days" when we all looked out for each other and didn't have to worry so much about our children playing outside or leaving our belongings unsecured at night. Sadly, it is a much different world that we live in than it was if you look back about twenty years. Crime has risen exponentially, and we now have the constant threat of terrorism right here in our own backyard.My goal is to offer the necessary education and training that our community needs to combat these issues, and to make the criminals and terrorists think twice about their plans. As the sayings go, "there is strength in numbers", and "the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun". The more trained and aware we are, the harder and less desirable target we become.I invite you to come learn and train with me, and become a part of our community defense.
