The Front Porch is a one-day music event created to showcase Michigan music artists from around the state playing on front porches of Ferndale, Michigan.The event features established as well as up-and-coming bands and performers of all genres. The inaugural event in 2017 featured 30 acts on . In its second year, the 2018 event presented 57 acts playing on 27 porches.In two short years The Front Porch has become synonymous with the Ferndale festival scene and one of metro Detroit's most anticipated summer music events.
