Frontier Investment Holdings (fka Frontier Capital Advisors) is an alternative asset manager that acquires and manages direct secondary and other alternative investment portfolios of credit and equity-related positions in middle market corporate and special purpose entities. We currently manage over $350.0 million in several separately managed vehicles within two distinct asset classes. Our investors are comprised of large U.S. institutions.In late 2010, we acquired a $258.7 million corporate middle market credit portfolio, including related equity interests, from a New York area-based hedge fund. This portfolio is broadly diversified by industry and across the capital structure of its 14 individual middle market borrowers. In summer 2011, we acquired an $79.2 million hedge fund side-pocket portfolio from a European financial institution. This side-pocket portfolio is well diversified across 24 individual hedge fund managers. In 2012, we acquired several hedge fund side-pocket portfolios from European financial institutions based in the UK and Switzerland. These portfolios comprise of high quality managers.
