FSU College of Law's Juris Master (J.M.) is a 30-credit-hour master's degree in law that can be completed online, on-campus, or both. Students in the J.M. program learn how to identify and understand potential legal and regulatory hazards, design and implement intelligent risk management programs, and better assess when legal counsel is needed. Students also acquire essential legal skills, such as how to read and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law, how to conduct legal research, and how to communicate your findings to executives, board members, and others within any organization.The online program offers concentrations in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Technology Risk Management, Employment Law and HR Compliance, Legal Risk Management, Contracting, and Compliance, Financial Regulation and Compliance, and Health Care Regulation. The on-campus program offer concentrations in Administrative Law and Governmental Relations, Business Law, Environmental and Land Use Law, and Criminal Law and Justice.
