The WestConnex M8, double the capacity of the M5 East corridor. • Stage three: M4-M5 Link project will connect stages one and two through a new road tunnel, linking the M4 and M5 corridors. The M5 East Motorway opened in 2001 and is a 10km motorway linking the M5 South West with the CBD Sydney Airport, Eastern Suburbs and Port Botany.
