Thanks for allowing me to share my pickleball addiction with you, I'm glad that you are here!One evening in late 2018 I was riding my bicycle home from work when I passed by several courts that were lit up as the sun had just set. I had passed the courts many times before but this night was different. It was the first time I heard that magical thuck thuck sound, the unique sound that a pickleball makes when it hits a paddle.Intrigued I rode over to the courts for a closer look. To my surprise they weren't tennis courts, which I had assumed they were. After watching a foursome hit the ball around I found a sign on the frontside of the courts that said "Courts are for Pickleball play only". The thought that ran through my head was "What the heck is Pickleball?"I raced home and immediately fired up Google which then led me down a rabbit hole of YouTube pickleball videos. It really only took watching one pro level game and I was on Amazon ordering a cheap set of 4 wooden paddles and balls. I dragged my wife and a couple of friends out to the courts a few days later when my paddles showed up and I was hooked.Since that fateful evening I've met some amazing folks on the pickleball court. They have taught me the rules, helped me keep score and given me the encouragement to continue to get better. Most of all they have given me their friendship and it was because of the laughs that we shared that the idea for Fun Pickleball Tees was born.I hope that you enjoy the humor and passion we bring to our tees.
