Functional Family Medicine is the only Direct Primary Care medical practice in Albuquerque, NM. Direct Primary Care practices are opening their doors all across the country. DPC is primary health care with insurance removed from the equation. We do not take insurance. We have a membership based business model in which our members pay a low monthly fee. They receive same and next day appointments, on time visits and unhurried time with their provider. We have no co-pays, no-deductiables, no insurance headaches at all. In our model the provider is free to deliver real personalized care to our members. An insurance company is not making the decisions about our member's health care. Those decisions are between the patient and the provider, like they should be. Our members receive unlimited visits and around the clock access to their provider. We make house calls, at no additional cost, if our members are too sick to come to the office.
