FOUNDATION LIYAME provides comprehensive support for the underprivileged community. We started with the children. Physical, mental, and cognitive disabilities are often shamed in Mexico. These children find themselves often with no help and are kept at home. LIYAME focuses on the Mother, who is often burdened with the complete care of the entire family. Through programs of care and education we thrive to improve their quality of life.LIYAME has evolved to support the entire family of the poor and underprivileged. Music therapy, food distributions, medical supply donations, academic classes, speech therapy, are all but a few of the ways LIYAME is improving the lives of the less fortunate. Founded on November 3, 1999 by Mrs. Hortensia Rodríguez de Magaña and Mrs. Inés Pérez Gavilán de Soto.
