Fundaţia Buckner acts through and for people in Mureş County, developing programs and social services which are meant to meet the needs of at risk or vulnerable children and communities, in order to improve their autonomy, their confidence in their own abilities and to improve their quality of life. In reaching its goals, Fundaţia Buckner centers its message and its activity on Christian values, personal involvement, professionalism, sustained efforts, continuous learning and development, as well as on empathy toward those in need. We believe in the potential of every human being and in everyone's capacity to overcome their own condition. We believe in the power of the community and in reaching out to help those around us.
