The Mission of FAM is to provide quality education to Angolan children enabling them to use their voice with confidence. And provide special needs students with that same quality education so that they can become contributing members of their communities. Also to promote a happy and dignified life for the elderly.We believe that students should not just excel in the classroom, but we believe that they should be well rounded human beings. We want to instill strong values, love of country, love of nature, love of others and especially love of self. We also believe in STEM programs, and see the Arts as being equally important. But most importantly we believe in Angolan youth, who we have worked with for the past six years, at Complexo Escolar Mártires do Uganda, and with other schools that we partnered with. Their energy, determination, creativity and ability to reason was inspiring. They jumped hurdle after hurdle with ease and confidence, even when sometimes they didn´t have everything needed to succeed. And that is why Fundação Adelaide Marília was born to give them all the necessary conditions, so these young Angolan boys and girls could reach their objectives.
