The Funeral Directors Association of NZ (FDANZ) is a voluntary membership based organisation of funeral directing companies who together carry out approximately 80% of the funerals in New Zealand.The core functions of FDANZ are lobbying the government around issues affecting grieving families, increasing standards in the industry, providing support and guidance to member firms and increasing the public's understanding of the value of a funeral.As an association, our shared vision is: A New Zealand where meaningful funerals are valued as an essential part of healthy grieving.Mission: A meaningful funeral experience for our communities.Our three core vales are leadership, integrity and professionalism.
