Furious Films was founded in 1997 by David No and Brent Houghton to address the lack of genre filmmaking in Australia. They quickly became the genre specialists and wrote screenplays and directed action sequences for the top distribution companies in the country. Due to David's Korean heritage, he started Line-Producing Korean commercials and Music Videos shooting in Australia. This lead to worldwide production services for predominately South Korean production (including film and tv drama).
