Futebol dá força (FDF) is an international non-profit organization that works to strengthen girls' rights and opportunities through football. Futebol dá força means 'football gives strength', which is exactly what we do. Through football, we empower leaders (coaches, girls and communities) on the football field and further in life. At the same time we change structures in society that today limit girls' opportunities. We strengthen girls as well as their possibilities and influence in society - simply because we believe that everyone should have access to the same rights and opportunities. FDF started with one team in Mozambique in 2012. Today we run programs in Sweden, Mozambique, Zambia and on the Åland Islands with thousands of girls every week.We also run a for-profit branch, FDF for Business, with the same goal and vision as our non-profit. In FDF for Business, we have taken our competence, experience and methods from our non-profit sector and adapted them for businesses. We enable companies to work with equality, inclusion and diversity, making businesses more inclusive and value driven through talks, workshops, educations and consulting. By doing so, businesses can join our movement of change - and we can at the same time generate revenues that finance our non-profit work. That is what we call a win-win!
