Future Care RRG, Inc. was formed by Greg Cook, Dr. Robert Pope, and Dr. Daniel Hafendorfer. Doctors Pope and Hafendorfer were the founders of another RRG, CARE Risk Retention Group, Inc. Since 2004, CARE RRG has successfully insured many medical professionals with its robust coverage to thousands of providers across the spectrum of medical specialties. Since then, the company has been licensed in 26 states and continues to grow. CARE RRG has developed and maintained strong relations with their agents and successfully defended those who found themselves the target of a malpractice claim.Just as these providers were seeing large price increases in professional liability insurance coverage, our agents and brokers were seeing similar experiences in the long-term care industry. Given the current need in the marketplace, it was clear that we needed a solution to provide long-term care providers an alternative to skyrocketing insurance rates. In June 2018, Greg contacted numerous players in the industry to put together an exceptional team of underwriters, defense attorneys, risk managers, claims handlers, reinsurance partners, and brokerage partners. The company incepted on November 1, 2019 and started to receive member applications in December 2019.
